2.) 4 eggs
3.) 3/4 cup milk
4.) 1 tsp. vanilla
5.) 1/3 cup sugar
6.) 1/2 cup raisins
7.) 1 teaspoon cinnamon

How to:

Lightly spray a casserole bowl with pam. Fill to the top with rough 1/2 inch pieces of bread. Combine in raisins. Then combine eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Pour mixture on top of bread and mix carefully to make sure evenly coated. Dust top with another pinch of cinnamon if desired. Put in oven at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. Enjoy! One of my favorite desserts! :)

The Kohlrabi Experience

Ok, so a long time ago I heard about Kohlrabi. The name of it and the way it was described made me want to try it out for myself. Well, in Nebraska, Kohlrabi doesn't seem to exist. Not even at Whole foods market! Until Yesterday. :) I happened to stumble upon Kohlrabi at the local Hyvee. Hyvee! can you believe it! So i decided that the reason I couldn't seem to find it anywhere is because it was simply not in season.
Anyways.....

This is the recipe I made for it- wasn't too bad, but the taste of Kohlrabi is definitely unique and might take some acquiring.
